Bo Diddley, Dead at 79


Legendary bluesman Bo Diddley will play no more. Diddley died today at his home in Florida at age 79.

Saw Bo Diddley play at the Hawks Nest (I think) with Ronnie Hawkins, the (his) band behind him and two wasted go-go dancers, all celebrating Hawkins birthday. It was a slow weekday night, lots of rain and only four people in the audience. Bo Diddley played his ass off.

He was awesome.
