Because Ferrari Wants to Bask in Ford's Glory

Ford has a pickup truck it calls the F-150.   Ferrari has a Formula 1 race car it has designated the F-150.   This is the Ford:

This is the Ferrari:
Can you tell'em apart?

“Ferrari has misappropriated the F-150 trademark in naming its new racing vehicle the ‘F150’ in order to capitalize on and profit from the substantial goodwill that Ford has developed in the F-150 trademark,” Ford said in a complaint filed in U.S. District Court in Detroit.

Oh, that's it.   Ferrari wants Ford's goodwill!  So everytime some yokel shows up with the $51,000 price tag of a Ford 150 super cab fully loaded, he'll wind up walking out with a $360,000 Ferrari f150 instead.
