An Alberta MP, Tory naturally, thinks it's high time the Harper tyranny put an end to opposition questions. A supposed million dollar cost of responding to a few hundred written questions from opposition MPs is "absolutely ludicrous" says Harper shill, MP Brian Jean.
Mark Eyking, a Liberal MP who represents the Nova Scotia riding of Sydney-Victoria, asked the government in December for the total cost of renting venues or properties for executive retreats or meetings between 2006 and 2011.
Producing the answer cost the government $253,796, according to documents tabled this week in the House of Commons.
Curious but nowhere does the article mention how much it cost Harper to research and answer Harper's shill's question.
